  • Quotes and jobs: quote details, line items, pricing, job descriptions, budgets
  • Reviews: synced from Google Business Profile (with your authorisation)
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type, IP address

3. How we use your information

  • Provide and maintain the TradiHub marketplace
  • Display your business profile to homeowners searching for tradies
  • Match you with relevant jobs posted in your area and trade category
  • Process quotes, invoices, and payments
  • Send you notifications about new leads, quotes, and account activity
  • Provide AI-powered business tools (Pro and Business plans)
  • Verify your ABN against the Australian Business Register
  • Improve our services and develop new features
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Public profile: your business name, trade, suburb, reviews, and gallery are visible to anyone browsing TradiHub
  • Quotes: when you send a quote to a homeowner, they see your business details and pricing
  • Service providers: we use Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Neon (database), and Anthropic (AI features)
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or government authority

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers in Australia and the United States (via Vercel and Neon). We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), secure session management, and access controls.

File uploads are stored in Cloudflare R2 with access-controlled URLs. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

6. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)

Quotes and invoices may be retained for the statutory period required by Australian tax law.
